Linen Thread

At Somac Threads our linen thread is produced from the highest quality linen yarn; it is used where natural fibres are required.

Our thread is available with a polished, rot-proofed or soft finish. It can also be dyed, depending on the quantity you require.

We supply linen thread in various sizes of cops and cones from 25g, 50g, 250g, 500g, 1.5kg and 5kg. The larger size packages are designed for less down time and therefore higher productivity. Linen can be twisted to anything from two cords to eight cords, depending on the thickness and end use. Linen threads are used in many applications.

Typical users of linen are manufacturers of leather goods, luggage, parachutes, carpet, mattress, equestrian, pool cue whipping, endless belts, and post-mortem and embalming procedures.
